Press Release Body = Mairi Craw\'s debut novel, \'Beyond the Hedge\', has been a hit
with readers since it was published at the end of 2005 when it also received a world
premiere broadcast on \"the booklovers\' radio station\", Oneword. The book is a
vibrant, fast-paced reality-based fantasy set in the port of Irvine on the
south-west coast of Scotland during the 1960s.

To mark the 1st anniversary of the original broadcast, Oneword Radio is repeating
the acclaimed dramatised reading over the Holiday Season. Read unabridged by the
renowned Scottish actor, David Rintoul, the tour-de-force serialisation begins on
6th December and continues in daily half-hour episodes until 2nd January 2007. The
broadcast is timed to coincide with the launch by Oneword of \'Beyond the Hedge\' as a
downloadable audio book.
